Clash of wills

Here was the enemy prince.  On his knees.  Tiradates had made enquiries.  He knew why he’d come, the reason for surrendering himself.  Tiradates’ threat of reprisals had worked  ..  better than he could have expected.  Here to make an offer no general would refuse.
Only question  ….  how best to accept?
