Clash of wills

Maciste could not lose sight of the fact that Tiradates had him hopping  ..  always lagging behind  ..  caught out  ..  struggling to catch-up.  This general had tricked him and, since, he had been out-smarting Maciste at every turn.
Captured.  Prisoner.  Parthian slave.  But as Menander he’d be taken back in triumph to the emperor.  He’d be abused, maltreated.  But he’d be delivered in one piece.  Time, then, to make amends for his mistake  ..  get away  ..  wreak revenge.
Just one thing played on his mind  ..  his mission  ..  getting those women and their kids free  …….
