Ambushed.  Beaten.  Captured.  No warning.  No reason.
Days of march bringing him here.  They’d come a long way.  Come looking for Tarzan.  Come to hunt him down.

He resisted.  He demanded to know what this was about.
They persisted.  They silenced his questions.  Gagged to shut up his mouth.

Strung up in this cave.  Any attempt at fight-back heavily resisted.
Left to wait.  Strung-up for hours.  Bidden to await their presence.
Commanded to attend their will.
